Passing away around the same time as Michael Jackson, I could not understand how deeply his death affected me…. I guess to me, Phil Harris epitomized the American work ethic and Hard Working and self reliant American small business man or woman. No matter how much our government attempts to stop this drive – there will always be Phil Harris’ that continue to fight and work till the day they die.

Born in London, Jill Ireland was best remembered for her many films with, and long marriage to Hollywood Icon Charles Bronson. Its hard to believe it has been 20 years since she lost her long courageous battle with cancer. Her two books openly dealing with this fight brought a great awareness to the world of the almost epedemic rise of breast cancer.

We have Roy Orbison’s complete album “Greatest Hits” from 1964 (Orbison was only 28 at the time) and yet the album contains many of his best songs like “only the lonely, fallling, blue bayou, oh pretty woman and crying”

What ever became of……Jane Leeves ? after 15 years on prime-time television with Murphy Brown (1989-93) and of course Frasier (1993-2004) Jane Leeves has been working putting her unique “English” accent to work doing voice and character work on animated films along with occasional TV Series Guest roles including most recently a few episodes of Desperate Housewives.
